Pot Holes on northward West Side of Chicago
In the city of Chicago, mickleholes argon outrageous. According to cityofchicago.org potholes are caused by the freeze-thaw cycle. When moisture seeps into pavement, it expands when it freezes and contracts when it thaws. This flexing of the pavement, combined with the melted water and the stress of vehicular traffic causes pavement to deteriorate and potholes to form. Chicago has more than 3,800 miles of lanes, and potholes can occur on any one of them. Potholes tend to bulge most on arterial streets (which carry the most vehicles) and chthonian bridges and viaducts, playing fields w here(predicate) water often collects. There are pot holes all over the city, and I will talk about the epidemic of the pot holes in my community and my neighborhood here on the west side of Chicago. There is a broad pot hole on all street on the west side of Chicago. But I hinge upon low-spirited North Ave nearly every day, because that is where my sons naturalize is located. Every time I apparent movement down North Ave. there is a pot hole on every block. It has gotten so bad, every time a person drive they have to slow down.
The speed limit on that street is 30 mph but youre forced to drive much slower than that if you dont want to precipitation your car or front end of it. Pot holes are such a huge problem in this area because there is so many, and it seems as if our community has been forgotten or overlooked. Now, North Ave. stretches from Chicago, going east and as you get boost west its on the border of Oak Park, IL Melrose Park, IL, and North Lake. North Avenue is full of pot holes but only near the city limits. Once you get yesteryear Austin and North Avenue going east thats when the pot holes appear.
