In the first tenet, Nonconformity, Transcendentalists believe that you should not just go with the ladder; you should view things differently than community and come up with your stimulate opinions. I feel that this center of thinking applies to me, in the way that you should not be told everything and you should be yourself, not what society wants you to be. (2) The assist tenet, self-reliance, explains the need to believe and assurance in yourself. This tenet states you should in self-confidence on yourself and not trust solely in others to do tasks for you. (3) As famous Transcendentalist Ralph Waldo Emerson said, swan thyself: every heart vibrates to that weightlift string. (4) This means that everything you are derives from yourself, and this is a major belief of Transcendentalism.
