Ryan Allis and Aaron Houghton started the company with no capital, the first year they make $17,000 dollars in sales, 2nd year $200,000 dollars in sales and either year their sales increased. The video is a documentary on an entrepreneurship company, iContact, which is an email marketing company that sends about 650 million emails a month. iContact revolutionized the email marketing market by offering an patrician way to send out newsletters. They allowed small businesses the resources and capabilities to compete online with bounteous corporations while building relationships with their customers.The video goes on to discuss things standardised risks that are associated with entrepreneurship; iContact didnt feel like they had many risks because of their lack of resources and sign net worth.
iContact grew rapidly, instead of using the profits for themselves, the business partners embossed investment capital to fund their growth; therefore, proclaiming their business non-profitable in the first couple of years. They took a $300 investment to assoil a $2000 return. Because of their growth and risk, iContact is able to contribute to the standard of nutrition by creating jobs in North Carolina as well as giving charitably all over the world.

It was interesting that one of the owners of iContact said that they were not besides a profitable company right now. They chose to produce capital to fund their rapid growth. This is testament to the mindset of prospered entrepreneurs and how they are able to have a vision of the incoming and allow things happen over a period of time.
some other point that I thought was interesting was their views on diversity. mavin owner said that diversity inside of the office is of the essence(p) and helps them to understand how their products affect their customers who come from backgrounds that are just as diverse.
