The United States is home to respectable over 300 one thousand thousand muckle. Out of the 300 million people not one man or women is monovular in every aspect. Though there were differences in people, passim history there was majority of people who had several things in common. This majority of people were white males; this conference was the dominant gathering for centuries. During the past couple hundred eld they kept groups of people oppressed and inferior to them. These groups consisted of people of African descent, women, and immigrants who came into the country. As the years progressed through the past century, African the Statesns, women, and immigrants were slowly gaining there right(a) and equality. There was another group who faced contrast that was the group of homosexuals. One place where gays and lesbians were discriminated against heavily was in the small town of Timbertown, Oregon. Discrimination towards gays and lesbian did not yet occur just in Oregon. What creates the discrimination towards this discrimination towards this group of people, why in recent history have people thought of gays and lesbians as different? Economic struggles within society create prejudice towards gays and lesbians.




Douglas Bayntons article focuses on the history of the call modify and the series of groups that are labeled disabled.
